The wait staff was so apologetic and super interested in learning what may have led to cc. So I went for it, Nima tested it, and there was gluten found. The waitress said it was pre-made, but she believed it was 100% gf. I asked what thickener was used for the gravy and how the mashed potatoes were scooped out to field for cc. I ordered the Shepard’s pie off of the regular menu, which was marked gf. The waitress brought me fresh, non contaminated butter without me even asking for it. They had to bring a bun, but that was fine. I ordered gf bread while my family ate the complimentary gluten bread. So while this isn’t gf specific, I was just in awe of how caring the staff was! On a side note, they were also super accommodating and helpful in the prep of one of my son’s food who has autism. They were so supportive of wanting to create the perfect gf experience for me, and I appreciated their patience and determination to make it an excellent meal for me. We haven’t been to a CF since I was diagnosed, my son was yearning for pizza, and the food court didn’t appear to have many gf options, so we decided to try it.įirst off, the staff was super welcoming and friendly. We used to love coming to this exact spot for La Sandia, but now it’s a Cheesecake Factory. we were staying at a hotel nearby, and we walked to the mall as my husband used to work on the promenade.
